Travel Advisory – Glasgow City Centre. Due to the recent fire near Glasgow Central Station, there are ongoing road closures and significant travel disruption across Glasgow city centre. The station remains closed while emergency services and engineers assess the damage. Our clinic remains open and operating as normal. However, if you are travelling into the city centre, please allow extra time for your journey and check local travel updates before leaving. We appreciate your patience during this time and thank you for planning ahead.

If you anticipate being delayed, please contact our reception team and we will do our best to assist.

Our lovely GP and practice owner, Dr Sheila has been in the media spotlight over the last week!

Firstly, she spoke to Business Women Scotland magazine about her experience of getting to grips with business acronyms which are so so different from medical ones! GP AND MD! (Many thanks to Gerri Campbell Photography for the fantastic photographs). We think this is a fun article but really does highlight the difficulties involved when you take one type of jargon for granted and need to move to another.

Just this week, Dr Sheila was also in the Herald newspaper after having been interviewed about her experience of setting up the practice. This is a really interesting article about what motivated her to set up the practice, her priorities and vision for Glasgow Medical Rooms’ future.
