Physio Focused is a private Glasgow Physiotherapy company situated at Glasgow Medical Rooms in Glasgow’s City Centre.

At Physio Focused, our aim is simple. We provide every one of our clients with the maximum possible level of care. Whether you’re in need of an initial assessment, on the road to recovery, or looking for injury prevention tips, our dedicated team of experts are here for you.

Our hugely experienced team of Chartered Glasgow Physiotherapists can treat various injuries including back pain, hip, knee and ankle pain, shoulder pain and many different sports injuries.

Chris is Physio Focused’s lead Sports Physiotherapist. Chris has extensive experience in musculoskeletal and occupational health physio as well as work with professional sports people.

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Physiotherapy and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Through a previous role he has extensive experience with healthcare insurance providers and telehealth services.

Alongside his works with Physio Focused he works with a large multinational company providing Glasgow physiotherapy care, works for the Scottish Football Association and works as an injury prevention consultant for athletes through Athlete Focused.

Massage Therapy

At Physio Focused we believe that prevention is better than cure. We also believe that looking after your body is a constant, never ending process.

Like a car, you must maintain your body on a regular basis. One way to do this is through Massage Therapy which gives you regular maintenance and helps relieve tension that builds up through everyday life.

Our massage treatments are bespoke to you and your requirements. We offer Relaxing Massage Therapy, focused on relieving stress and improving wellbeing, Deep Tissue Massage to relax tension and help reduce pain, or Sports Massage which combines massage and movement to address sports specific tightness.

We took our 2 year old son in to see Dr O’Neill for a meningitis B vaccination recently. Due to shortages of the vaccine, we had been on a waiting list with a well-known high street pharmacist for months without knowing when they would get stock in. We came across Glasgow Medical Rooms who had the vaccination and we managed to get our son booked in the next day. The clinic was very smart and easy to access in the city centre too. Dr O’Neill was great at dealing with our toddler. It was a relief to get the jabs sorted so quickly and would highly recommend the service to others.”

I used GMR for travel vaccinations which involved significant leg work on behalf of GMR staff - Ruth, Rebecca, Colin, Laura and Nicola - such as talking to third parties about my vaccinations and ordering in vaccines. GMR managed to fit me in for 6 vaccinations, one of which involved 3 doses, in the space of a month, at very short notice.All the staff are super friendly, professional, hard-working and efficient. Exceptional! :)

Such welcoming and thorough staff. I arrived half an hour early and enjoyed coffee in the comfortable waiting room. Dr O'Neil was lovely. So easy to get to from Central Station too. I'll be using Glasgow Medical Rooms again and would recommend them.

This is the second time I have visited GMR & the whole experience was just as good as the first. Dr O’Neill was friendly & made me feel at ease right away. The examination was carried out professionally & competently & although I need a second appointment I feel a bit more relaxed about it.

Been having a medical issue and after a Google search I found this practice very close to my hotel. From appearance at first I thought I was in the wrong place because it seemed to me that it was upmarket. I was fearful that I would be sent to the public hospital but I have to wait 45 minutes to see a doctor. The girl on reception was very helpful. Very comfortable seating. And an offer of coffee or tea, not something I have been offered by other practices.
