Qualifications
- Medical degree and valid GMC registration
- Experience in family medicine and primary care
- Excellent diagnostic and medical decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Experience in and commitment to training and supervision of ANP staff
- Experience in occupational health is a plus
- Postgraduate qualification in general practice or related field is beneficial

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Masters Degree OR Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification OR RCN accreditation
- Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
- Meets NMC revalidation requirements
- Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level
Desirable
- Qualified triage nurse
Experience
Essential
Experience of practice within the four pillars
- Experience of prescribing and undertaking medication reviews
- Experience of working in a primary care environment
Desirable
- Experience of working as a practice nurse or community nurse
